Iris worked as a Budget Analyst for the Department of Defense at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown, New Jersey.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Spindell and sister Natalie Lipkin.
Surviving are her son George Spindell and his wife Aliza; daughter Susan Futterman and her husband Jay; grandchildren Marisa, Matthew, David, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren Hudson and Callan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Friends and extended family should arrive between 10:15am - 10:45am for the 11:00am funeral service.
An entombment will immediately follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery, 374 State Route 79, Morganville, New Jersey 07751.
Shiva will be observed at the late residence after the entombment until 6:00pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
