Jack is survived by his daughter Terri Heiney and her husband Michael; daughter Barbara Peters; son David Bregman and his wife Julie; grandson Israel Heiney and his wife Erica; granddaughter Sari Hamway and her husband Eli; granddaughter Stacey Tebele and her husband Ames; granddaughter Jessica Bregman; grandson Eric Bregman and his wife Michelle; granddaughter Jessica Peters; granddaughter Samantha Rizzo and her husband Vincent; granddaughter Dana Peters; great-grandson Salvatore Rizzo; great-grandson Sam Hamway; great-granddaughter Terri Hamway; great-grandson Michael Hamway; great-grandson Zachary Hamway; great-grandson Edward Tebele; great-grandson Michael Tebele; great-granddaughter Arlene Tebele; great-grandson Jacob Tebele; great-grandson Michael Heiney; great-grandson Isaac Heiney; and great-grandson Jacob Heiney.

Mr. Bregman was preceded in death by his spouse Mildred Bregman in 2017.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. A committal service will follow at 1:00 PM at Montefiore Cemetery, Springfield Boulevard, St. Albans, New York 11412.

Shiva will be observed at the residence of Barbara Peters following the burial on Sunday as well as Monday until Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Shiva will be also be observed at the residence of Terri and Michael Heiney on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or any charity that benefits veterans.
