She was born in the Bronx, where she grew up with a circle of lifelong friends. As adults, this tightly knit group relocated to the Jersey Shore.
Jacqueline, whose family and friends meant the world to her, is survived by her sons Neil Schuman and Andrew Schuman and her grandsons Jesse Schuman and Ari Schuman.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Albert Schuman, who died in April, 2023. The Schumans enjoyed music, dancing and Broadway shows.
Jacqueline, who had a rewarding career as a legal secretary, was an avid reader and a mahjong whiz.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23,2025 at 11:00am at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ. Burial service will be held at 1 pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover, NJ.
The Period of Mourning will be observed at the late residence.
