Jennifer was a natural born educator. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees from Brooklyn College. She touched and inspired many children’s lives as a teacher at PS 230 in Brooklyn. Her work didn’t end when the school day did. She was devoted to passing down her legacy to her children and grandchildren through her writing poetry and teachings. Even after retirement, she shared her passion for books and writing by volunteering at an elementary school in New Jersey for several years. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
