Jill is survived by her husband Jeffrey Hand; daughter Carri Kurs and her husband Jordan; son Craig Hand and his wife Dana; brother Gary Schreiber; sister Shari Schreiber; grandson Michael Kurs; granddaughter Taylor Kurs; grandson Jack Hand; and grandson Chase Hand.
Mrs. Hand was predeceased by her parents Albert and Shirley Schreiber.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 immediately followed by a committal service at 1:00 PM at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11704.
Shiva following the burial will be at the home of Craig and Dana Hand, 1884 Leslie Lane, Merrick, New York 11566 until 8:00 PM.
Shiva will also be at the home of Jordan and Carri Kurs, 15 Mulberry Drive, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 on Saturday 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jill's memory may be made to the Food Allergy Institute.
