Jorge was born on February 14, 1955, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He moved to New York as a young child. He graduated from Washington High School and went on to study Accounting at City College.
Early on in his career, Jorge worked for Lorimar Telepictures. These years of his life were full of exciting times. One of his favorite memories from this time of his life was an encounter with Leonard Nimoy, who was lost in the building and said to him, “Hey kid, how do you get out of here?” On September 7, 1987 he started his career at Dynamic Marketing, Inc (DMI). His first role was to run the computer department, but he quickly worked his way up to Controller, and eventually took over as Executive Director. He stayed with DMI for nearly 37 years, continuing on as a financial consultant even past his retirement.
Jorge was kind, generous, funny and very smart, with tons of what his family jokingly called “useless knowledge.” He had many interests including traveling, cooking, and cars. He was a proud member of Regency Car Club. His biggest hobby was spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren.
Jorge is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa Joskowicz, of Monroe, NJ, his son Alan Joskowicz and wife Karla of Robbinsville, NJ, his daughter Michelle Delgado and husband Edwin of Manalapan, his sister Lili Wanger and her husband Jeff of Boynton Beach, Fl, his granddaughters, Jordan Smith and Skylar Delgado of Manalapan, and Kaylan and Annabelle Joskowicz of Robbinsville, his grandsons, Edwin and Alexander Delgado of Manalapan, and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dora and Fabio Joskowicz, and his son, Scott Rosenberg.
