Larry was born on July 14, 1936, in New Rochelle, NY. He graduated from New
Rochelle High School and then enlisted in the Army. After serving his country in
Germany during the Korean Conflict, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University earning
a BS in Business.
Larry is survived by his wife Susan, daughter and son-in-law Robin and Claude White,
daughter Sheryl, and son Brian. Larry is also survived by his grandson Ian White. Larry
cherished his family deeply, always finding joy in their company and shared
experiences.
At his core, Larry was a family man and loved making memories with his family. As a
younger man, he loved weekends at the beach and vacations in the Poconos,
Disneyworld, and Wildwood Crest, NJ. After his children left home, he and his wife
enjoyed traveling throughout the US as well as Europe, Canada, and Australia. Larry
was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, a dedicated supporter of local food banks, and a lover
of animals, especially dogs. He joyfully gave his time and support whenever possible,
helping start the Youth Group at Temple Shaari Emeth and supporting the Red Cross
through blood donations and drives.
Larry’s professional life was focused on pharmaceutical advertising sales, a career that
he thoroughly enjoyed. He excelled in his field, earning numerous awards for his
outstanding performance.
The funeral is on Wednesday May 7th at 11:00 am at Bloomfield Cooper 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
Shiva will be at Susan’s home, 9 Eaton Court in Jackson on Wednesday after services with minyan at 7:00 pm, Thursday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm minyan at 7:00 pm and again on Friday from 2-4 pm.
Donations can be made to Fulfil the food bank of Monmouth and Ocean County or
Temple Shaari Emeth Rabbi Panken's Discretionary Fund.
Larry's legacy of love, generosity, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew
him.
