Lillian was predeceased by her husband Irwin in 2002; and is survived by her four daughters: Denise Brown, Vicki Rosenthal, Sharon Hughes, and Susan Faigin; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Lillie was a very loved grandmother and great-grandmother, and enjoyed being surrounded by her family, and friends whatever chance she had.
Lillie was genuinely loved by all who came in contact with her. She had a sense of humor that had people truly laugh for an extended period, and she knew how to comfort her loved ones.
Her favorite expression was, “a busy person can do it all!” Unless Lillie did not feel well, she would be out 7 days a week, shopping or playing cards. She was loved by all and was an expert poker player and active in her community club house. She loved making new friends and spoke almost daily to her longtime friends.
If you needed help, Lillie was there to lend a helping hand and was a friend to all who came in contact with her. Once you were in Lillie’s “inner circle,” you had a friend for life.
Lillie will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095 on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 am.
