Her strong and independent spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Marilyn is survived by her son Jack Mosesman and his wife Eileen; son Fredrick Mosesman and his wife Edith; daughter Sherri Smilen; grandchildren Amanda, Robert, Stefanie, Erin, Derek, Brooke, Ross, Amber, and Max; great-grandchildren Brianna, Tony, Noel, Mekhi, Jacob, Chloe, Ella, Alexandra, Isaac, Ronen, Lev, Riley, and Madison; and great-great-grandchildren Ellie and Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Karashik in 2009; brother Jack Kopman; sister Faye Midgal; brother Abraham "Pinchy" Kopman; and her twin sister Shirley Greenberg.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Friends and extended family should arrive between 12:15pm - 12:45pm for the 1:00pm funeral service.

The burial will immediately follow at 2:30pm at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Fred and Edith on Wednesday after the burial, Thursday 11:00am - 5:30pm and 6:30pm - 8:00pm, and Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm with a minyan at 8:00am.
