Maris Ellen Lieberman

Maris Ellen Lieberman,(Nee Stern) 73, of Celebration, Florida, passed away December 19, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Freehold, NJ, before moving to Celebration, FL. She worked as a Registered Nurse for NYU Hospital and later became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) in Brooklyn in the 1960’s. She was a Volunteer Leader for the La Leche League Support Group in New York and New Jersey as well. After she raised her five children, she returned to school and received a MA in Social Work from Rutgers University in the 1980’s. Her passion in life was for her family and a love of Disney.

Beloved wife of Ronald Lieberman for 53 years, devoted mother of Amy Lieberman-Jabloner and her husband, Neil, Stacy Lieberman, Jon Lieberman, Debra Gunn and her husband, David, and Adam Lieberman and his wife, Jennifer, loving grandmother of Jake Lieberman, Lena Gunn, Jessica Lieberman, Marley Jabloner, Sean Humphrey, Dawson Gunn, Emily Gunn, Tyler Humphrey, Tory Orozco, and Dan Orozco and Delana DiFedele, adored great-grandmother of Hunter Orozco.

Funeral Services are by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manlapan, NJ. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11am. Interment will follow at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
