My heart is sad that Marni has passed.  My very best to her family.  Diana O'Leary

I worked with Marni on the launch of a product a few years ago. She was so respectful, kind, collaborative and refreshingly honest. I hope you hold onto beautiful memories of her. 


I had the pleasure of having Marni as my supervisor early on in my career. She helped start my career and took a chance on me when she offered me my first “big girl job” at LPR. I’ll never forget when I started on my first day, it was her birthday, and she made me feel so welcome as the newcomer, even on her special day. 

When we saw each other again at the LPR anniversary party years later, she made me feel the exact same way. So warm and kind and interested in how I was doing, while
sharing many laughs reminiscing about our LPR “Girl’s team” stories. 

I am so lucky to have had her mentorship during my public relations career. She truly was a wonderful person who always had a smile on her face or friendly thing to say. As her memorial says, the world needs more people like Marni. Someone who makes a lasting impact, no matter how long or short the interaction, because that’s how bright her light was. 

Dear David, Charlie, Ella, Joyce and Frank,  My family and I were heartbroken when we heard of Marni's passing.  We send our prayers and deepest sympathy to all of you.  I lost my first great granddaughter Inara in June at 14 months.  Life can be difficult but I am glad your Charlie and Ella have you and Frank to comfort them. Love Diana and family.

Marni always brought the most positive, uplifting energy to Resound and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from her. She offered me my first public relations job out of college and served as a mentor to me ever since. She will be missed, sending my condolences to her loved ones during this time.

I had the pleasure of working with Marni, and was immediately dazzled by her creativity and wit. Having both lived in Hoboken, we often connected over stories and remembering our favorite spots. Truly a bright light to anyone that knew her, and a woman who was absolutely enamored with her husband and children. Marni will be missed.

My condolences I remember babysitting Marni when we were kids.  She will always hold a special memory in my heart and mind.  I remember as kids she was always getting into things.  I will miss you my friend save a spot for me.  Much love Gayle 

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Marni’s passing. I got to know her over many years through our involvement in the NJ chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and we instantly clicked. I adored and admired her for her quick wit, sparkling personality and passion for her family and role as mom and wife.  My heart goes out to her friends and family during this most difficult time.

For the last year and a half, Marni has been my VP and the person I looked up to most at Resound Marketing. I constantly told myself Marni was who I aspired to be. The way she carried herself and the experiences she had were inspiring. She taught me so much over the last year and a half, and I will forever be grateful for every lesson learned. Marni was funny, kind, charismatic, her laugh was contagious- the list goes on. We talked about books, even started a book club for a short while, we rooted for the Giants and had to talk about it nearly every week. We bonded over our love for the show, Yellowstone and gossiped about some of the Bravo couples (shoutout to Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover). We even bonded over our East Windsor connections, something I’ll always hold close to my heart. Marni was a light and I’m incredibly grateful to have worked for her and to have known her. She’s the person who called me to offer me my first job. It is something I’ll hold on to for the rest of time. I will miss her so much, and I know so many others will too.

It has been many years since we have seen each other, but my heart is with you during this terrible time.  Marni, like her mother, was a force of nature.  I can't begin to imagine what you are going through.

Marni was one of a kind. Her energy was contagious, but even more so she had the biggest heart.  She worked tirelessly doing public relations for my brand Motif but more importantly we fought constantly (about Michigan and Ohio State football!) We found some common ground teasing each other in an almost brother and sister type way. I'll miss her tremendously. Your Resound family and your actual family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.  Please everyone hug your loved ones tighter and think of Marni's great laugh and smile over the holidays.

Marni was one of my most favorite people in the whole world. Her positive energy and infectious laugh lit up the room. Everyone who met her instantly liked her. At work when I was facing a challenge, I would honestly ask myself “What would Marni do” because she always knew the right thing to say and the best way to make everyone feel comfortable.  

Marn, your spirit is too bright to be dimmed, so I know you are still shining down on us. I love you, and I will always remember the good times we had.

Marni was a true professional and an incredible person to work with. She was such a great example and I feel honored to have been able to work with her. She is someone that I admired greatly. I am devastated for her loved ones and will miss her very much.  

Sad to hear this news. Had the opportunity to work a bit with Marni and her team & we shared a couple of fun dinners in Montreal during her visits here for work.  My condolences to her family who meant so much to her and to her colleagues as well.

Marni will be missed. She was more than a colleague for years, she was a friend who always had the best in mind for the team. I will personally miss her, greatly.
