He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 21, 1937 to Harriet and Abraham Fineman and spent most of his adult life in Morganville, NJ. After attending college to become a C.P.A., he subsequently earned a J.D. degree as well as an LLM in taxation. He was a partner in the accounting firm David Berdon & Co. in N.Y. City from the early 1980s until his retirement. His lifelong passion was karate and he proudly earned his black belt from the Kanzen Gojo Ryu Dojo. He was known for his devotion to his wife and family.
Marshall is survived by his wife Carole after 59 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son Dr. Mitchell (Lucy) Fineman, his son Richard Fineman, and his son Dr. Steven (Lauren) Fineman. Marshall also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Jessica, Jonathan, Amanda, Brett, Sarah, Samantha, and Lanie.
