Michael Harvey Kuperman, 69, of Monroe Township, NJ passed away on January 9th at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 19, 1946 to William and Anna Kuperman. Michael began his storied culinary career working for various catering halls as a young man in Brooklyn, NY. He was then called into duty as an Army chef. Following his discharge from the Army he moved to Florida where he met his late wife Cynthia. Later he would take his culinary talents north to NJ where he acquired The Deli King in Highland Park, NJ. More recently he had been working in transportation. Michael is predeceased by his parents William and Anna Kuperman and his loving wife Cynthia. He is survived by his daughter Meri and her husband Craig of Morganville and his adoring grandchildren Amanda, Gabrielle, Julia, and Josh. Donations may be made in his name to the American Liver Foundation. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 17th at 9:30am at the Mount Sinai Cemetery in Marlboro, NJ on Route 79.
