I am going to miss my  gym buddy. We talked about many things over the past few years. Both friends and family related. Mike will be missed. I could not attend today because of some medical issues.

I had the pleasure to meet Mike and Sharon some 7+ years ago at a Feast happy hour. In short order it was as though I had known the two of them for a lifetime. The two of them embracing, loving and down to earth fun. Since that time, I had the pleasure of catching up with the two of them at countless happy hours and mutual friend gatherings. But it was those one on one conversations I had with Mike that revealed what a truly beautiful person he was. Full of life, and always positive. He spoke proudly of his children and you could tell the love he had for Sharon. Personable, funny and genuine describe the man. He would recount his favorite Seinfeld episodes. I was planning to meet up with Mike and Sharon after the New Year, but the day eludes. Save me a seat at the big Happy Hour in the sky Mike! Until then, know you are missed and loved. Peace be with you and may God bring comfort to those you left behind.

I remember giving Mikey as many of us have called him at times at book on his 60th birthday @Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings,  that was very special to me because it was signed by the author. This book I had  bought it specifically for my dad, but  my dad had passed & bit was mine to keep or pass on. So I decided to pass this book about a Jewish Boy growing up in Brooklyn on to Mike on his 60th birthday. I was so happy to give it to my  good friend who grew up in Brooklyn. He told me he would read this book that was illustrated with places that he recognized. 
Also Mike would spend many times just sitting with me to talk to see how I was doing, since I am single and older than both Mike and Sharon. He was a caring, jovial person. Everyone liked or loved him and has said wonderful things about Mike and were all so shocked and saddened to hear of his most sudden death. Mike you will be missed. Rest in Peace. May your memory be a blessing.

My sincere condolences to your family; sending lots of love and thinking of you during this very difficult time. Mike was one of my favorite people to see at Feast; he was such a happy, loving, down to earth guy who would do anything for his family and could never say enough good things about all of you. I will truly miss our conversations and his warm smile and hugs every time Kim and I would walk into Feast.  Please let us know if there’s anything at all that you need.. we are here for you.
