Morton Weitzner

Mr. Weitzner is survived by his wife of 61 years, Harriet Weitzner, nee Bassett. He is survived by three children: Barry Weitzner and his wife, Grace; Michael Weitzner and his wife, Andrea; and Julie Weitzner. Mr. Weitzner is also survived by his five grandchildren: Zachary; Rachel; Ryan; Sydney; and Zoey.

Mr. Weitzner was nature lover who hiked for 59 years.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was a furniture salesman afterwards. He was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Union, NJ; Sierra Club; Adirondack Mountain Club; and art and photography clubs.

Funeral services will be Sunday January 7, 2018 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels; 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, NJ at 11 AM.

Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, New Jersey.

The Period of Mourning will be observed at the family residence Sunday through Tuesday. Also at Michael and Andrea's residence on Wednesday. and at Barry and grace's residence on Wednesday.
