Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Fairlawn for 40 years before moving to Greenbriar at Whittingham in Monroe Township in 1998.
Mr. Citron worked as a Director of Purchasing for Universal Manufacturing in Paterson, NJ for 40 years prior to his retirement in 1993.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Harriet in 2007. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Larry Josephs, his son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Stacey Citron, his four grandchildren, Jennifer, Morgan, Samuel and Julia, and his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Erwin and Joan Citron and Albert and Dale Citron.
Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, NJ, Interment will follow at Independent Verein Cemetery, Woodland Park, NJ.
