Dave - I still can't believe that you are no longer with us. You were such a dear friend to me at Lafayette College. All of my memories include you, your laugh, your smile, your silliness and most notably your drive and determination to get everything out of life that you want. You were always true to yourself, never compromised what was important to you and you had a huge heart. I'm going to miss you Dave. I will think of you often and always remember the good times.

With much love,

I cannot find the words to express how deeply saddened I am by the loss of Dave. He was a wonderful and unique person. Anyone who was lucky enough to be his friend was better for it. I owe a great deal to Dave both professionally and personally. I feel extremely privileged to have know him. I hope you are at peace Dave.

I have learned so late of this tragedy. He touched so many lives. I traveled with Dave to Equador and studied with him frequently during medical school. May his spirit always live.

I was shocked and saddened by the news of Dave's death. We were classmates in medical school. He had much more to offer the world. It truly is a tragedy that his life was so short. May his family be comforted by knowing that many lives, inlcuding mine, have been changed for the better because they knew Dave. Linda D'Eramo, D.O.

My family had the honor and privilege of knowing Dave through our daughter Kristen. He was a wonderful human being. As he and Kristen were always there for each other, I know she has a special guardian angel to watch over her. Our deepest condolences. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace, Dave.

Dave had the most contagious laugh - the thought of which still makes me chuckle. Having met and lived with Dave during his away rotation at UMASS, I found him to be as dedicated and selfless as anyone I've come across in the years since. I will always cherish our friendship and his advice on medicine and life - which usually brought me to tears from laughing so hard. Rest in peace, friend.
