NANCY C. SMOLANOFF died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the Jewish Home, Freehold. She was 69. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Fresh Meadows, Jamaica and Kew Gardens, NY. She later moved to North Edison, NJ, where she lived until moving to Monroe Twp. in 2015.
Mrs Smolanoff worked for the Edison Sheltered Workshop and was a longtime volunteer for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Daughter of the late Harry and Hilda Lifschitz, she will be forever remembered by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth, her son Hal and his wife Jennifer, her brother Stewart Lawrence and his wife Betsy and her 3 beloved grandchildren Zachary, Jacob and Hailey.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 9:00 am in the Chapel at Mount Sinai Mausoleum, 374 Route 79, Morganville, NJ 07751. Burial will follow in Mount Sinai Cemetery.
Shiva will be observed at the family's home on Friday after the burial until 6:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
