Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Brooklyn and Staten Island, NY until moving to Manalapan, NJ 51 years ago.
Neil was a teacher with the New York City Board of Education for 34 years.
Surviving are his wife Sharon of 53 years, his daughter Randi Ismailer and her husband David, his son Eric Rabinowitz and his wife Alexa, his sister Susan Cutler and her husband Mitch, and his grandchildren: Sam and Andrew Ismailer and Zoe and Mia Rabinowitz.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan followed by his burial at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 374 Rt. 79, Marlboro.
Shiva will be held at the Rabinowitz home, 292 Union Hill Rd, Manalapan, Tuesday through Thursday from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. Minyan services will be held 7pm each evening.
