

Paula Sheffler, 84 years, of Freehold, NJ, formerly of Morganville, NJ, died on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick,NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Morganville, NJ, for over 40 years before moving to Brookside Assisted living in Freehold, NJ Mrs. Sheffler lovingly raised her 3 daughters and enjoyed reading, politics, Mahjong, Canasta. Most of all, she loved spending time with her loving grandchildren. She was very active in Cancer Care, Hadassah and the Temple Beth Ohr Sisterhood, all of Old Bridge.Her real passion was traveling with her beloved husband.I n her later years, she received loving care from her health care provider Diaka Kaba along with the staff of Brookside Assisted Living. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Sheffler in 2008, as well as her beloved parents Albert and Lena nee (Kleinbard) Kornberg. Mrs. Sheffler is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Dr. Edward Julie, Mindy and Carl Offit and Amy Kalieta, a brother Jay Kornberg, and her six grandchildren, Cory, Jacquelyn, Benjamin, Andrew, Kristopher and Rachel and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be deeply and sorely missed.Funeral services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels,44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, N.J. on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 9:00AM.
