She was the daughter of the late Louis and Elaine Blatt. Renee was a loving wife to the late Barry Schiffman.
She was a devoted mother to Seth and his wife, Jaime, and a wonderful grandmother to the lights of her life, Lily, Hana, and Maya, who brought her immeasurable joy and happiness.
Renee was also the beloved sister of Bruce Blatt and his wife Karen and a loving aunt to their daughter, Ashley, her husband Marc, and their children, Ethan and Layla.
As much as Renee adored her family, she took great pride in her friendships, many spanning more than 50 years. Renee will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and caring spirit.
Above all, Renee will be remembered for her big heart and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and her legacy of love will continue through her family for generations to come.
A Graveside Service will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704 on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00 am. Please meet at the cemetery office between 10:30 am and 10:45 am and we will proceed to the grave together.
