

Born in San Francisco, CA, he resided in Westchester, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Manhattan and Fair Lawn, NJ before settling in Monroe Township 6 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was an IT Programmer and Manager for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York City. He also worked in IT at Burns, Warner, Manufacturers Hanover Trust and Harcourt Brace Javonovich. He was a combination of Native American and European dating to before the Mayflower. He was survivalist who loved learning for the sake of learning and anything that could go fast on land or sea. He spent his life trying to live up to the ideals he read about in books, Native American culture and the Marines.
Richard was predeceased by: His father Sherman, his mother Helen Doble and his sister Judy.
Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Eileen; Siblings Steve, Jeri Lee, and Glen; Children David, Bruce and Lauren; Grandchildren Danielle and Collin; brother and sister-in law Ron & Sue; Sister in Laws Jackie and Leslie; nephews & nieces Stuart, Sarah, Richard, Erika, Shawn, Brian, Lucas, Evan, Emma, April, Katee, Becky, and Michael.
A private cremation was held under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels. A zoom memorial service will be held Sunday, April 12 at 1:30PM.
