Richard Craig Mermer, Age 67, of Marlboro, NJ, died peacefully at home on December 30th, 2016. Beloved husband of Mindy. Devoted father of his two daughters and son in law, Suzanna and Kevin Cowan and Alana Mermer. Predeceased by his loving son Eric Mermer in 2008. Dear brother of Spencer and Robert Mermer and sister in law Mary Mermer. Loving grandfather of Ethan, Tyler and Chloe Cowan. Adored uncle and friend.
Richard was a graduate of Miami of Ohio University in 1971. He then began his career in International Finance, where he was the Vice President of International Factoring for GMAC Commercial Credit. Richard was a car enthusiast, loved the Mets, and good old Rock and Roll music. He lived for his family and always had an optimistic attitude. Richard will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels in Manalapan, NJ on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
