Born in 1929 in Newark, NJ, Roland had resided in Old Bridge for 22 years, Manalapan for 19 years and recently in Morganville. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked as a personnel recruiter for 40 years in New York City. Roland is survived by his wife of 50 years, Freda, his son Steven (Lori) and daughter Melissa, and grandchildren Nikki, Megan, Kelli and Melinda. He also leaves behind his sister, Sylvia Weshnak, and nieces Heidi, Rebecca and Elizabeth. Visitation for Shiva can be made on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 14th and 15th, at 84 Village Rd, Morganville, NJ after 1PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
