Born in Bronx, New York she lived in Fair Lawn, New Jersey before moving to Monroe Township, New Jersey.
She was a graduate of James Monroe High School of Bronx, NY and Long Island University.
She was a Teacher in New York City and Fair Lawn, NJ.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Dr. Lawrence Salman in March, 2017.
She is survived by her children: Dr. Richard Salman and Nancy Zinn. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be at Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
The Shiva Period will be observed at the Salman Residence Thursday and Friday.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s disease Foundation.
