Sharney Edelman, 77 of Manalapan, N.J. died on September 9, 2013 at her residence. Born in Brooklyn N,Y, she moved to East Windsor ,N.J. in 1970 and lived there for 42 years before moving to Manalapan one year ago .Mrs. Edelman worked as a bookkeeper for many years.She was pre-deceased by her husband Edward Edelman in 2010.Surviving are her two daughters and son-in-law Beth Fessel of East Windsor, N.J. and Rhonda and Jan Gale of Manalapan, N.J. and her son Jeremy Edelman of Roosevelt, N.J., her sister Phyllis Simon of East Hampton, N.Y. and a brother Steven Schmidt of Carlstadt,N.J. and her six grandchildren Ariel, Shane(Lauren), Ross, Paul, Molly and Nicole and two great-grandchildren Keira and Toby .Graveside services will be held at Perrineville Jewish Cemetery, Perrinville, N.J. on Tuesday 09-10-2013 at 2:00 PM under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, N.J. .Should friends desire contributions at ASPCA of Monmouth County would be appreciated .
