Shirley Weiniger

Shirley Weiniger, 96, of Aberdeen, New Jersey. passed on Saturday May 2, 2026 at her home. Born in London, England in 1930 and raised in Westcliff On Sea, England, she immigrated to Canada at 26 years, she then later move to Queens, New York where she would go on to meet her husband Joseph at a dance, and they would go on to get married 6 weeks later in 1956, they then would ended up moving to Matawan, NJ in 1969 and lived there for 49 years before she moved to Freehold, NJ to be with her daughter Karen.

Throughout her life, Shirley enjoyed bowling, loved knitting and also enjoyed the occasional gossip with her friends but what she loved the most was being a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2020.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen Leitgeb (Warren) and Irene Kiebuzinski, as well as her grandsons Conor, Logan, and Aleksander, and her granddaughter Melanie.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 5, 2026, at 11am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ followed by her entombment at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1075 Woodbridge Dr, Woodbridge, NJ.
