Steve is survived by his wife of 46 years Jamie Wechsler; son Jay Wechsler and his wife Jessica; daughter Aubrey Wechsler; sister Jane Wechsler; grandsons Zach and Alex Wechsler; and sister-in-law Randi Geller.
Steve was predeceased by his parents Harold and Sally Wechsler.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 followed by a committal service at 12:30 PM at Mount Sinai Cemetery, 374 State Route 79, Marlboro, New Jersey 07751.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Steve and Jamie on Friday after the burial as well as Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
