Sumner Morris, age 97, of Freehold, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Mr. Morris was born in Bangor, Maine. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran of WWII.

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife Sylvia (née Cohen) Morris; son James Morris and his wife Naomi; daughter Cynthia Mansbach; and step-sons Steven Hochman and Jerrald Hochman.

A funeral service for Mr. Morris will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Following the funeral service will be a burial at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1000 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
