Born on October 19, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, to Jacob and Gladys Cohen, Susan was raised with a deep appreciation for learning and family. She earned her degree from Brooklyn College and spent a few years as an English teacher before choosing to dedicate herself fully to her home and the people she loved most.
On June 15, 1969, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
A proud and nurturing mother, Susan is survived by her sons, Adam (and his wife, Stacey) and Steven; her adored grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda; and her beloved sister, Marcia. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, and her parents.
Susan’s family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into creating a home that was warm, welcoming, and full of love. She also found great joy in traveling—especially on cruises—cherishing each journey and the memories made along the way.
She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her presence will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
