Yankel Finkelshtein was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He was one of three siblings and was always proud to mention that he helped his mother birth his sister. He was a father to four wonderful sons, who instilled the important notion of family amongst all of us. Many do not know how sensitive he was, how he would cry when anyone was in the hospital or sick and how important our grandmother was to him. He fought strongly thru so many surgeries and illnesses. He was resilient and determined, and left a legacy of Finkelstein's who would not be what they are today if it were not for him.
