

Alfred W. “Fred” Boisvert, 75, of Manchester, died December 17, 2014 after an illness. He was born in Manchester on March 9, 1939 the son of William and Gertrude (Proulx) Boisvert and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was educated in the local school system and attended the former Bishop Bradley High School.
He was self-employed as a plumber and was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps. Fred was a sporting enthusiast who enjoyed skiing and playing softball. He had a heart of gold and was always available to lend a helping hand. A devout Christian, his love of family was only surpassed by his love of God. He will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Members of his family include his wife of 55 years Carol (Dulac) Boisvert of Manchester, his son Ross Boisvert and his wife Corinna, his granddaughter Hannah Boisvert, his grandson William Boisvert all of Hooksett, his brother Joseph Boisvert and his wife Nanci of Manchester and his sister Janet Carter and her husband Richard of Warner as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday December 22 from 5 to 7PMat the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St, in Manchester. A Committal Service was celebrated on Tuesday December 23 at 11AM in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering with family and friends at the McIntyre Ski Area 50 Chalet Way in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Fred’s name be made to the NH Prostate Cancer Coalition 75 So. Main St. Unit 7 #175 Concord, NH 03301 or to the Manchester VNA Hospice Services 33 So. Commercial St. Suite 401 Manchester, NH 03101.
