

Mag attended Ford Trade School in Dearborn, Michigan and was a graduate of Hesser College IN Manchester, NH. He also held a certificate in Basic Electricity from the NH School of Mechanical trades which he earned at the age of 86.
He married his first wife, D. Arlene Roma (Smith) in 1950 and they had three children. They were married for 47 happy years before she passed away in 1997.
The Korean War interrupted his life from 1952-1954. He served his country in the US Army Artillery. He was honorably discharged as Sgt.E-5.
He was actively employed in the paving industry for 47 years, having been employed by Barrett Paving from 1960-1992 and Brox Industries from 1994-2008.
Mag loved automobiles and auto racing and was proud to be an Italian from Detroit. He often said that "Detroit was the capital of the auto industry and the arsenal of Democracy during WWII. He never forgot where he came from even though he lived in NH for over SO years. He also loved boxer dogs and owned 5 of them in his lifetime.
He married his second wife, Diane Best Roma in 2000 and with her came two children, Andrew and Jennifer Best. Mag and Diane enjoyed their life together, especially winters in Florida and the activities of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mag was predeceased by his brothers Gene (Elsie),Armando (Rita), and sister, Eleanor Buchanan (Al).
He leaves behind his wife, Diane, and his children David (Susan). Janis Cox (Bob), Douglas (Parichehr),their children Matthew (Becky), Daniel (Sarah), Graham (Bonnie), Michelle (Jason), Josslin Smith (Ryan), Seth (Natalie) and their children, Charlotte, Eloise, Marshall, Everett, Harrison, Madeline, Sam, and Charlie as well as Diane's children, Andrew Best (Lisa) and Jennifer Best (Joel Leak) and many nieces and nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
Calling hours will be held on Monday March 3, 2025 from 4PM to 8PM at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St Manchester, NH 03104. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at McHugh Funeral Home.
