

Ann M. Buczynski, 95, of Manchester, died August 20, 2014 at her home. She was born in Franklin, NH on April 30, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Sophie (Szczurek) Nowak. She grew up in Franklin and was educated in the local school system. She was married to Francis “Frank” Buczynski in 1947 and they relocated to Manchester in 1966.
“Babci”, as she was lovingly known, was a woman who was strong in her faith. She was a hard worker and was employed at Dorson-Fleischer Shoe Company. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan who relished their World Series and Super Bowl victories. Babci loved reading, knitting and cooking for family get togethers. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Members of her family include her husband of 67 years Frank Buczynski of Manchester, her two daughters Patricia Bernard and her husband Carl of Concord and Katherine Stanton and her husband Jack of Manchester, her grandsons Thomas Stanton and his wife Allie Ferrelli of Manchester and Philip Talbot of Candia, her granddaughter Kaitlin Stanton and her husband Timothy Pomplun and her great-granddaughter Lilliana Grace Pomplun all of Zurich, Switzerland as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There were no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday August 23 at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Elm St. Manchester. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Ann’s name be made to Meals on Wheels 323 Franklin St. Manchester, NH 03101.
