Ann Hodes

Raised in Newark she lived for many years in New Jersey. She was a resident of Deerfield Beach, FL for 35 years prior to moving to Manchester two and one half years ago.

She owned Braeger Brothers Inc., a wholesale supplier of dry cleaning supplies. An accomplished, successful, self-educated business woman and real estate developer, she was active in many small businesses as well. Above all else, she achieved her life-long goal of educating all her children.

Mrs. Hodes was a lifetime member of the B’nai B’rith and Hadassah.

IN HER LIFE: She is survived by three children, Jay Hodes and his wife Margie of Bedford, NH, Harold Hodes and his wife Susan of Long Branch, NJ and Rosalie Fields of New York City; four grandchildren, David Hodes, Adam Hodes, Tiffany Waddell and Joshua Hodes.

A graveside service is being held Sunday at 2 PM in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5 Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 201, Bedford, NH 03110. The McHugh Funeral Home of Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
