Carole A. Tondreau, 78, of Hooksett, died February 19, 2018 at the Bedford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in New Brunswick, Canada on November 26, 1939 the daughter of Clarence and Florence (Lacey) Carr. She grew up in New Brunswick and was educated in the local school system.
She was married to the love of her life, James Tondreau, in 1966 and together they relocated to Hooksett in 1971. She was employed at the Elliot Hospital as an X-ray and radiation therapist with more than 30 years of service. She was one who believed in giving back to her community and volunteered as a life guard and a Girl Scout leader. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed her quiet times spent sewing and knitting. She will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend.
Members of her family include her husband of 51 years James Tondreau of Hooksett as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There were no calling hours. An inurnment service was celebrated on Tuesday February 27 at 11 am at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery 110 DW Highway in Boscawen.
