Christina A. Philibotte

Christina A. (Patsas) Philibotte, 64 of Manchester died August 12, 2010 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester on April 22, 1946, the daughter of Nicholas and Sophia (Kourlas) Patsas.

Raised in Manchester she was a graduate of West High School and received an associate’s degree from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Manchester. She was a resident of Charlotte NC for nine years and returned to Manchester in 1984. Mrs. Philibotte had been employed at Sanders Associates and later at Poly-Vac Corp.

She will be remembered by her family for the laughter they shared and her caring and lovable nature.

Family members include her husband of twenty years, Richard “Butch” Philibotte of Manchester; a daughter Kathy Webster of Candia; a son Stephen DuBois of Newton, NH; her mother Sophia Patsas of Bedford; a step daughter, Carol Philibotte of Deering NH; three stepsons, Steven Philibotte of Manchester, Brian Philibotte of Pittsburgh, PA and Craig Philibotte of Goffstown; five step grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothea Schack of Goffstown and Maria Tebbetts of Nashua; several nieces and nephews.She was pre deceased by her father.

Calling hours were on Sunday from 5 to 8 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 483 Beech St., corner of Hanover St. The funeral service was held on Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Andrew Mahaleras officiated. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Christina’s name to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
