Claire M. Corriveau

She was born in Quincy, MA on February 13, 1935 to Louis and Clara Buckini. Upon the early deaths of both parents, she was adopted by her aunt and her husband, Rita and Carl Johnson, in 1947 and moved to their home in Manchester.

Claire attended Manchester West High School and, following graduation, worked at The Traveler’s Group and also for many years as a sales clerk at Jordan Marsh/Macy’s in Bedford.

In her retirement, she enjoyed her time as a teacher’s aide at The Lamb’s Workshop Preschool and Kindergarten in Bedford.

She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Rene Corriveau, in 2004.

She is survived by her sons Neil and his wife Deborah of Goffstown, and Jeffrey of Milford; two grandchildren, Allison and Douglas; a brother Robert Buccini and his wife Shirley of Rockland, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering for Claire will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McHugh Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, New Hampshire 03104. A memorial service will occur same day, Monday, November 27, 2023 at 1:30 PM. A private inurnment to follow.
