Claire E. Vallee Walsh

Claire E. Walsh, 73, of Auburn died Saturday July 13, 2013 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born on October 22, 1939 in Manchester the daughter of George and Eva (Filteau) Vallee. At an early she moved to Auburn with her family where she attended Auburn Village School.

Claire enjoyed being outdoors, spending time in her garden, hunting and fishing. She also loved rummaging around at yard sales and flea markets. She was employed for many years as a grinding specialist at Alcumet.

She was predeceased by her sister Jeannette Guilbert.

Members of her family include her husband of 28 years Gerald Walsh of Auburn, her two sons Dennis Brochu and his wife Phuong Loan and Michael Brochu all of Manchester, her daughter Joanne Duclos of Largo FL, her four grandchildren Daniel Emmett, Corey Emmett, Daelynne Kirlis and Nakia Brochu, her sister Irene Goupil of Manchester and her brother Gerald Vallee and his wife Monique of Epsom.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 18 from 6 to 8PM at McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester.
