Clara V. Lopez-Elysse, 44, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, May 9, 2015 at her residence following a lengthy period of ill health. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 24, 1971, the daughter of the late Maria Quinones.
She moved to Manchester in 1977 and was educated in the local school system and attended Central High School.
Through the years Clara was known as a handworker. Her family cherished her as a genuine and unique woman who was honest, loving, giving and strong-willed. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and good friend to many.
Clara is survived by two sons, Carl Elysse Jr. and Andrew Millien, both of Manchester; a grandson, Jordan Millien of Manchester; a brother Wilfredo Morales of Manchester; several aunts, nieces and nephews.,
Calling hours were held on Thursday from 1 to 4 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. Private burial will be held at a later date.
