OBITUARY

Cynthia Gelinas

November 13, 1962December 23, 2020

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Cynthia Ann Gelinas, 58, of Manchester. She died on December 23, 2020. She was born on November 13, 1962 to her parents, Gerald Gelinas and Nancy Hughes.

She grew up in Dunbarton where she made wonderful childhood memories with her siblings. When she left Dunbarton, she moved to Manchester where she raised her children. She found great joy in watching them grow and achieve their goals. Friends and family were always a huge part of Cynthia’s life, she made sure to keep in touch with everyone. She loved going to the beach, lake or even just backyard BBQs, as long as she was surrounded by her loved ones.

One of Cynthia’s greatest aspirations in life was to one day go to Disney World, which she was able to accomplish in her lifetime. She had a big heart that was noticed immediately by everyone she met. Although this was so sudden and unexpected, her spirit will continue to live on through us forever.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Justin Gelinas and Emily Gelinas; her grandchildren, Alexis and Jacob; her siblings, Pam, Mark, Mary, Jessica, Beth, Beau, Alan, Bradley, Tim, her twin Christine; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In honor of Cynthia, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

My cousin Cindy was such a kind soul. She never had a bad word to say, and made me smile every time I saw her. Its hard to believe I won't hear that wonderful laughter again and the funny comments she could make. But I will never forget either. I would always run into her while out shopping and we would end up talking about everything. I loved that voice of hers and how she would laugh. She had a wonderful spirit about her; she sure was special and one of a kind. All my love and sympathy to all her family.💙

Oh Cindy! We just saw you last week and despite the world we're living in you reached out & gave me a big hug. You always gave the best hugs. You called me Mommy & Jay Daddy inside joke that always made us laugh. No matter what you were going through you were positive and were there for others. Heaven definitely just livened up! You loved singing in the car going to get ice cream "Thunder" & "In the Middle". P.S. BIG MACs still don't come with tomatoes LOL rest easy girl
