

A New Hampshire native, Donald grew up in Manchester and graduated from Manchester West High School, class of 1941B. He served in the United States Army during WWII in the 97th Infantry Division, stationed in the European and Pacific Theatre from 1943 to 1946.
Donald loved to travel and spend most of his winters in Florida. He was an avid sports fan, always rooting for his beloved New England teams. Donald enjoyed the simpler things in life, like playing golf at Manchester Country Club and later in life at Candia Woods Golf Course. He was also interested in politics, staying current on the news and spending time with family. He was also a long-time member of the Manchester Lion’s Club. Donald spent most of his career as a Purchasing Agent and Contract Coordinator for Pandora Industries, serving their company for 32 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Joan Manning and his stepchildren, MaryEllen Stergiou and husband Chuck, Dr. John O’Connor and his wife Susan, Brion O’Connor and his wife Lauri, Christopher O’Connor and his wife Sandy, Michael O’Connor and his wife Brenda, Matthew O’Connor and his wife Laura; two sisters, Doris Blanchette and Murial LaBore; brother Ray Morin; fourteen grandchildren, Jeffrey and BJ Ringrose, Hilary Harrison, Graham and Casey Manning, Ruairi, Cian, Devan and Michaela O’Connor, Benjamin, Kelsey, Aidan and Luke Stergiou, Maddi and Brynne O’Connor and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Donald is predeceased by his first spouse, Rita Morin, second spouse, Jane (O’Connor) Morin, daughters Patty Smith and Michele Ringrose, and son-in-law Frank Manning.
