Doris H. Young

Doris H. Young, 77, died March 26, 2013 at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center where she had resided for the past 14 years. She was born in Manchester on July 18, 1935 the daughter of the late William and Mathilda (Tanguay) Young.

She was a life-long resident of Manchester and was educated in the local school system.

Doris was pre deceased by her four brothers, Francis Young, William Young Jr., James Young and Daniel Young.

Her family includes many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind a beloved extended family at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center.

Calling hours were held on Monday from 4 to 7 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday, April 2nd in St. Anne – St. Augustin Church, 382 Beech St. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Lockbox #1352, PO Box 8500, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
