February 19, 1957 – March 18, 2018
Elizabeth Letares, 61, of Manchester, NH, went Home to The Lord and her eternal family on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Merrimack Community Hospice House surrounded by family and friends. Elizabeth now joins her mother who had preceded her in July 2017.
Elizabeth was the third child born to the late Regina (Turner) and William Letares. Elizabeth attended Manchester West High School. Elizabeth was also a lifelong learner.
Elizabeth was employed most of her life in the food service industry in notable restaurants throughout Manchester where she used her effervescent people skills to garner friends and loyal customers. Elizabeth's Greek and Cajun roots were testament in her flower gardens that adorned her house. Elizabeth was an earthy simplistic free spirit who had a benevolent heart and soul which she used to champion for the disenfranchised and marginalized underdogs in life. Elizabeth was an extraordinary strong woman who endured to the end with unwavering courage and strength. Elizabeth's true enjoyment in life came from her family, privacy and flower gardens.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Stephanie, brothers John (wife Mary) and Stephen, sister Christine (Christopher), half-siblings, Mike, Michelle, Kimberly, Daphne and Christopher. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, siblings Gregory and Rhea, grandparents, several aunts and uncles. She also leaves behind nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family in Greece and Louisiana.
Visitation was held on Friday March 23 from 5 to 8 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester with a Memorial Service celebrated at 7:30 pm. All were welcome to regale in Elizabeth's life. Please bring photos, stories, and the laughter you shared with Elizabeth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to The Way Home, 214 Spruce St. Manchester, NH 03103, or to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd. Merrimack, NH 03054.
The family is grateful for the attentive health care Elizabeth received and wish to thank all of those providers involved, especially the CMC nursing staff, the Home Health & Hospice Care and the Community Hospice House of Merrimack.
Soar high Beth! You are Home with The Lord and family! We love you! Until we meet again... ________________________________________

Bethi's memory is all around us. Bethie was a sister to me-- we had alot in common- we loved all the same people. We were soul sisters. To know Beth was to love her, you always knew where you stood with her.
Her passion for life was in the people and things she treasured most. Some of her favorite things in this world were growing her plants and flowers, she had a green thumb like her mother for growing anything and everything especially her beloved orchids...... purple was her favorite. She loved being a waitress serving customers , making sure they were pleased, developing friendships, I know this gave her joy and a sense of purpose. She loved family, Her daughter Stephanie was her whole life , through good times and bad, always there for each other, an unbreakable bond like superglue. Beth was a strong-willed woman and didn't like being told what to do, especially by her brothers ,she always spoke her mind and was independant and very proud. She was as colorful a person as her tatoos of flowers, butterflies and birds and she relished the attention and comments she would get from them. She loved looking for antiques and treasures. she collected a variety of knicknaks over the years and each one a treasure to her with a special place in her apt. She loved our family christmas yankee swap. She had an unmistakable laugh that i will truly miss. I am very grateful for our times together especially this past year and To me Bethie was a treasure.

Beth was our favorite waitress at the Watoy many moons ago. She was also so pleasant and delivered excellent service. She always remembered her customers and if you liked a special sauce or a specific drink, she'd have it ready for you when you were seated. A kind, vibrant lady has been lost. Condolences to her family. Rest in peace, Beth.

Beth, God called you Home before me. You're so lucky! You're in Paradise now. You now have eternal life and are Home with God, mother, Greg, Rhea, yia yia, aunt Vangie and Uncle Charlie and the rest. It's so hard to believe you are not here, but I will see you once again but not anytime too soon! 🤠🌻
Love, your brother!
