

Frank P. Edelmann, 62, of Auburn, NH passed away on January 24, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a short illness. He was born on August 23, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Frank and Lillian (Fogarty) Edelmann.
Frank was a self-employed carpenter, woodworker and a true craftsman. He was a member of the NH Woodturners Guild and the Chester Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed cooking, sailing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Donna Edelmann of Auburn, his son Karl Edelmann and his wife Jill of Pittsfield, his daughter Katie Martinez and her husband Nick of Wichita, KS, his grandchildren Erika and Thomas Edelmann of Pittsfield, his mother Lillian Edelmann of Bow, his sisters Lillian Renaud, Meryl Pinkham, Mary O’Brien, Kathleen Ricardi, Laurette Edelmann and Patricia Turchon and his brother Thomas Edelmann as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends gathered on February 14 from 1 to 2 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Celebration of Life service followed at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Frank’s name be made to the Community Hospice House 210 Naticook Rd. Merrimack, NH 03054.
