

He was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High, class of 1971. He had been employed by Schonland’s for many years. For the past ten years he was employed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as a Behavior Development Officer and was instrumental in establishing AFGE Local 2617 in Manchester.
Mr. Bedard and his wife marked their 33rd anniversary on Saturday, March 31st, the day before he died. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament parish.
For many years he was a coach in the Youngsville baseball program and later in the South Junior Deb Softball League. He was a fan of all the New England sports teams especially the Patriots but above all he held a special place for former Fisher Cat and now Phillies catcher, Erik Kratz.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette “Bunny” (Cullerot) Bedard of Manchester; two daughters, Jessica Ippolito and her husband Randy and Robyn Malone and her husband Judson, all of Manchester; a granddaughter Cadence Malone of Manchester; two brothers, Richard Bedard and his wife Nancy of Goffstown and Gerard Bedard and his wife Jenni of Concord; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. a funeral ceremony was held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10 AM. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation of NH, 814 Elm St., Suite 300, Manchester NH 03101-2230.
