George James Moul, 92, of Hooksett, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday March 10, 2021. Born on December 13, 1928 in Hooksett, he was the son of the late Henry W. and Christina (McCann) Moul.
George was a lifelong resident of Hooksett and was educated in the Hooksett public school system. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged in 1953. He was a devoted Catholic, parishioner of St. Catherine’s Church, and member of the American Legion in Hooksett. He loved working in his garden, woodworking, painting, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He will always been remembered as the of the family comedian and class clown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Muriel (Armstrong) Moul; Son Michael Moul and his wife Diane; daughter Kathleen Brown and her husband Douglas; grandchildren Jennifer Robinson, Melissa Richard, and Jeffrey Moul; great-grandchildren Colbe Moul, Caleb Moul, Amelia Richner, Elizabeth Robinson, Rachel Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Kiara Brown, and Sophia Brown; along with several nieces and nephews. He predeceased by his grandson Matthew Brown, brothers Thomas Moul, William Moul, Henry Moul, Roger Moul, and John (Jack) Moul; sisters Dorothy Moul, Mildred Babel, and Christine Moul.
A visitation will be held from 9am to 11 am on Tuesday March 16, 2021 at McHugh Funeral Home located at 283 Hanover St, Manchester NH 03103, with a Service held at 11am at McHugh Funeral Home, and a burial held at 12pm at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 448 Donald St, Bedford NH 03110.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home Health & Hospice, or the Hooksett Fire Department.
