

Germaine Aldea (Laberge) Dandurand, 90, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL and Manchester died January 1, 2015 at Island Lake Nursing Home in Longwood, FL. Mrs. Dandurand was born in Manchester on September 20, 1924, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Aurelie (Bouchard) Laberge.
She was the widow of Roland J. Dandurand who died on April 9, 2013 after 67 years of marriage. Ill health required Roland to retire and through the years she took excellent care of him. They moved from Manchester to Boynton Beach, Florida where they lived for 31 years. In due time, six of her sisters and brothers moved to Florida and they were able to enjoy one another’s company. Germaine enjoyed life and was always very busy. They moved to Chambrel Independent Living in Longwood, FL in 2011 to be closer to their daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Ken Pelletier and three of their grandsons.
Mrs. Dandurand’s eldest and cherished daughter, Joanne Richmond of Surry, ME pre deceased her on December 10, 2014.
She is survived by three children, Elaine Pelletier and her husband Ken of Apopka, FL, Paul and his wife Gale Dandurand of Henderson, Nevada and Dennis Dandurand of Manchester; 9 grandsons, one granddaughter and five great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Maurice (Yvette) Roberge of Manchester; a brother Arthur Laberge of Stuart FL and many nieces and nephews.
A ceremony was held at 1 PM Saturday, January 10th in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. Encryptment will be in Mount Calvary Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, seize this moment to express your love for those you do.
