Gertrude E Wheeler

Gertrude E. Wheeler 84, died on August 22, 2011 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born on October 28, 1926 in No. Andover MA the daughter of William and Marion (Rokes) Frost. She resided in W. Boxford, MA and Salem, NH before relocating to Manchester. She was educated in the Boxford School System.

She was employed in the winding department at Pandora Industries for more than 29 years. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was also an avid lottery player.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Wheeler in November 1989.

Members of her family include her two sons William Wheeler and Albert Wheeler and his wife Susan all of Manchester, her stepson Richard Frost of Lynn, MA and her brother Willard Frost and his wife Ellen of Florida.

An hour of visitation was held on Thursday August 25, 2011 from 10 to 11AM at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. Manchester followed by a funeral service in the funeral home. Burial was in Forest Hills Cemetery in Derry.
