Henry E Florence Sr.

Henry “Hank” Eugene Florence Sr., 82 years old, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022. Born on December 16, 1939 in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Chester and Flora (Desilets) Florence.

Hank was raised in Manchester, New Hampshire where he was educated through the public school system. After attending Central High School, Hank proudly served in the Navy. Hank spent his career in the dairy industry and worked at both Hood’s Creamery and Blake’s Creamery.

Hank had a love for sports and was a dedicated Coach and Umpire for youth sports. Hank loved to golf and after retirement, he worked at the Hidden Creek Country Club. Hank enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his three children; Henry E. Florence and his wife Pamela of Manchester, David E. Florence and his wife Kim of Manchester, Donald E. Florence and his wife Jennifer of Manchester; brothers, Chester Florence and Thomas Florence, both of Florida; grandchildren, Tracy Florence, Jacob Florence, Tatum (Florence) Gobin, Ashton Florence, Tori Florence, Greg Beaulieu and Spencer Beaulieu; great-child, Seamus Brown and many loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Hank is predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Marie Florence.

A burial for Hank will be held at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation be made to youth sports organization or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
